Description+
A tapered column of wood under a pale drum shade.
The base narrows from a broad foot to a slim neck. It is made from acacia and rosewood and finished with a clear polish, so the grain shows through. The drum shade spreads the light evenly and keeps the bulb out of sight, and the bulb switches between golden, soft warm and white.
At 51 cm (20 in) tall it is a bedside lamp first: high enough to read by, low enough to sit beneath a headboard. It comes in light brown or dark brown, with or without the bulb.

Wood Cleaning & Dusting
Wipe weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a barely damp cloth — wring it fully so it feels almost dry. Wipe with the grain, never across it, then dry immediately. Avoid all chemical cleaners, sprays, alcohol, or bleach.
Sunlight & Heat Protection
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — UV rays fade and dry out wood over time. Keep away from direct heating vents, radiators, and fireplaces. Sudden temperature changes cause cracking; gradual seasonal movement is normal and harmless.
Moisture & Humidity
Keep away from open windows during rain, bathrooms, or kitchen steam. If the room becomes noticeably humid, run a dehumidifier. Wipe any condensation immediately. Indoor use only — do not place outdoors or in exposed areas.
Electrical Safety
Always switch off and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning or replacing. Never exceed the maximum wattage printed on the label. Use only the recommended socket type. Do not modify the wiring. Keep away from water and moisture to protect electrical components.
