The Dark Treen Turned Candlestick Holder is a pair in solid acacia, polished to a deep brown, with an iron fitting where each candle sits. Treen is the old English name for small household things turned from wood. The stepped, rounded profile comes from the candlesticks of Victorian mantelpieces; these are made new, by hand.
One stands taller than the other. Put the taller at the back of a sideboard and the shorter in front, or keep both beside a mirror so the flames are doubled.

Moisture & Humidity
Keep away from open windows during rain, bathrooms, or kitchen steam. If the room becomes noticeably humid, run a dehumidifier. Wipe any condensation immediately. Indoor use only — do not place outdoors or in exposed areas.
Candle Holder Safety
Never leave a lit candle unattended. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep away from draughts, curtains, and flammable materials. Trim wick to 5mm before each use. Do not allow candle to burn to the base — extinguish when 1cm of wax remains.
Candle Holder Cleaning
Remove wax drips by placing the holder in the freezer for 30 minutes — wax contracts and pops off cleanly. For stubborn residue, pour boiling water carefully and let it melt. Wipe the wood exterior with a dry cloth only — avoid soaking the base.
