Description+
A single bar of wood hung level over the table, with the light set into its underside.
The bar is solid wood, 107 cm (42 in) long, milled to shape and finished by hand so the grain runs its full length. A warm LED strip sits in a channel along the bottom, so the light falls straight down onto the table, and from across the room the bar reads as a plain line of wood.
Hang it over a dining table, a kitchen island or a long desk. It hangs on two fine cables and is wired into the ceiling, so it needs an electrician to fit.

Wood Cleaning & Dusting
Wipe weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a barely damp cloth — wring it fully so it feels almost dry. Wipe with the grain, never across it, then dry immediately. Avoid all chemical cleaners, sprays, alcohol, or bleach.
Sunlight & Heat Protection
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — UV rays fade and dry out wood over time. Keep away from direct heating vents, radiators, and fireplaces. Sudden temperature changes cause cracking; gradual seasonal movement is normal and harmless.
Moisture & Humidity
Keep away from open windows during rain, bathrooms, or kitchen steam. If the room becomes noticeably humid, run a dehumidifier. Wipe any condensation immediately. Indoor use only — do not place outdoors or in exposed areas.
Electrical Safety
Always switch off and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning or replacing. Never exceed the maximum wattage printed on the label. Use only the recommended socket type. Do not modify the wiring. Keep away from water and moisture to protect electrical components.
