Description+
A pylon in miniature, with a lampshade where the cables would be.
The lattice pylon was first strung across the English countryside in 1928 to carry the new National Grid, and it has marked the edge of every city since. This one keeps the crossed legs and the short arms, in black metal, and carries a black drum shade at the top.
It suits a study or a work desk, a room that already has some steel and concrete in it, and gives a low, warm light from under the shade.
