Description+
A reading lamp with a place to set the cup down.
Floor lamps with a small table built into the stem were a fixture of 1950s living rooms, made for the chair where someone read every evening. This one stands on three splayed legs of light solid wood, with a round tray at hand height and a white fabric drum at the top.
Put it beside an armchair or at the end of a sofa, and the lamp, the side table and the reading light are settled in one move.

Wood Cleaning & Dusting
Wipe weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a barely damp cloth — wring it fully so it feels almost dry. Wipe with the grain, never across it, then dry immediately. Avoid all chemical cleaners, sprays, alcohol, or bleach.
Sunlight & Heat Protection
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — UV rays fade and dry out wood over time. Keep away from direct heating vents, radiators, and fireplaces. Sudden temperature changes cause cracking; gradual seasonal movement is normal and harmless.
Moisture & Humidity
Keep away from open windows during rain, bathrooms, or kitchen steam. If the room becomes noticeably humid, run a dehumidifier. Wipe any condensation immediately. Indoor use only — do not place outdoors or in exposed areas.
Electrical Safety
Always switch off and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning or replacing. Never exceed the maximum wattage printed on the label. Use only the recommended socket type. Do not modify the wiring. Keep away from water and moisture to protect electrical components.
