Description+
The lamp that stays on after the big light goes off.
A white linen drum on a base of solid deodar, in the wood’s own pale colour. The shape is Swedish, from the small pine bedside lamps of the 1960s, when a plain fabric cylinder and a round of light wood were the whole design. The bulb inside has three settings, warm white through to gold, and the switch moves between them.
It was made for a nightstand, where it shares the space with a book and a glass of water, though it does the same quiet work on the corner of a desk once the screen is closed.

Wood Cleaning & Dusting
Wipe weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a barely damp cloth — wring it fully so it feels almost dry. Wipe with the grain, never across it, then dry immediately. Avoid all chemical cleaners, sprays, alcohol, or bleach.
Sunlight & Heat Protection
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — UV rays fade and dry out wood over time. Keep away from direct heating vents, radiators, and fireplaces. Sudden temperature changes cause cracking; gradual seasonal movement is normal and harmless.
Moisture & Humidity
Keep away from open windows during rain, bathrooms, or kitchen steam. If the room becomes noticeably humid, run a dehumidifier. Wipe any condensation immediately. Indoor use only — do not place outdoors or in exposed areas.
Electrical Safety
Always switch off and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning or replacing. Never exceed the maximum wattage printed on the label. Use only the recommended socket type. Do not modify the wiring. Keep away from water and moisture to protect electrical components.
