Description+
Three cedar stems, each flaring to a wide dish at the top.
The broad dish is the oldest part of the candlestick: church altars used it for centuries to catch the wax of thick pillar candles. These carry the same load in solid red cedar, where the pale sapwood and the dark heartwood meet in one piece, finished with tung oil and carnauba wax.
Three heights make a small group for a sideboard, a mantel or the end of a table set for a winter dinner.

Care+
Wood Cleaning & Dusting
Wipe weekly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a barely damp cloth — wring it fully so it feels almost dry. Wipe with the grain, never across it, then dry immediately. Avoid all chemical cleaners, sprays, alcohol, or bleach.
Wood Oiling & Conditioning
Re-oil with pure tung oil or natural beeswax paste once a year (twice in very dry climates or air-conditioned rooms). Apply sparingly with a lint-free cloth, leave 30 minutes, then buff off excess. Do not oil over lacquered or varnished finishes.
Sunlight & Heat Protection
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — UV rays fade and dry out wood over time. Keep away from direct heating vents, radiators, and fireplaces. Sudden temperature changes cause cracking; gradual seasonal movement is normal and harmless.
Candle Holder Safety
Never leave a lit candle unattended. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep away from draughts, curtains, and flammable materials. Trim wick to 5mm before each use. Do not allow candle to burn to the base — extinguish when 1cm of wax remains.
